Education for All
“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”

Give the gift of a better education
Imagine sending your child to school knowing that they would have no chair on which to sit, no table at which to write and no textbooks from which to study. Picture children so desperate to learn that they sit, day after day, on hard concrete floors, struggling to copy down lessons from battered chalkboards. The classrooms they sit in are nothing like what decent classrooms should be: dilapidated and without proper windows, doors, or adequate furniture.
With this acute need in mind, Helping Hands for Education (HHE) was established in April 2015 to provide educational facilities and resources to schools in Ogbomosho and to give children an opportunity to be educated and have a better start in life.
HHE aims to:
Better equip schools and students in Ogbomosho
Provide common learning resources for the benefit of all local schools
Build and run an educational hub and lending library for adults and children
Provide basic healthcare education and training facilities for the local community

Helping Hands for Education, The Story so far https://gofund.me/bff3ebc8 The work of Helping Hands for Education to establish a library, educational resource and wellbeing centre in Ogbomosho, Nigeria, is proceeding well. Having just returned from a visit, I produced this video to highlight the work that has been carried out to date and to explain where we want to go from here to get the Centre fully up and running, God willing. I hope it will inspire you to donate to this worthy cause to help transform the lives and educational opportunities of children in my home town. The link below would take you to the donation page. For whatever you can afford to give, you have my deepest, heartfelt gratitude. On behalf of the citizens of Ogbomosho, I thank you.
